OCALA, Fla. — Transwestern Development Company (TDC), in partnership with QuadReal Property Group, has announced a major lease deal at the Trailhead Logistics Park in Ocala. Building One, a 943,426-square-foot warehouse facility, has been fully leased to a third-party logistics provider serving a global e-commerce company.
This Class-A cross-dock warehouse was delivered in 2023 and features 40-foot clear heights, ESFR sprinkler systems, and abundant trailer and auto parking. Strategically located at the northwest corner of County Road 484 and I-75, with direct access to Hwy 484, the site offers excellent connectivity to Central Florida markets such as Tampa and Orlando.
According to Transwestern, this lease qualifies as one of the largest industrial leases in Central Florida for 2025. It is also one of only two new leases in the region this year that exceed 900,000 square feet. TDC acquired the land in 2021 and is now planning the next phase of development: approximately 220 adjacent acres that could support three additional buildings totaling about 3.2 million square feet.
Representatives from Cushman & Wakefield and SVN were involved in negotiating the lease.
