Fadnavis Lays Foundation Stone for XSIO Industrial & Logistics Park Along Samruddhi Mahamarg

Date:

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on 16 November 2025 laid the foundation stone for the XSIO Industrial and Logistics Park in Vadgaon, strategically located along the Samruddhi Mahamarg. The project is poised to significantly boost industrial growth and strengthen Maharashtra’s logistics ecosystem.

During the ceremony, the Chief Minister announced that the state government is developing a dedicated access road from the Samruddhi Highway to Vadhavan Port. This vital link is expected to streamline freight movement, enhance port connectivity, and further position the state as a national logistics powerhouse.

Fadnavis highlighted that the upcoming logistics park aligns with Maharashtra’s new logistics policy and will play a crucial role in transforming Nagpur into the “Logistics Hub of India.” To accelerate this vision, an MoU worth ₹3,000 crore has been signed between XSIO Industry, Blackstone, and the State Industries Department.

Spread across 105 acres, the XSIO Logistics Park will be developed in two phases—₹700 crore will be invested in the first phase and ₹1,100 crore in the second. The project is expected to generate approximately 10,000 employment opportunities, creating a major economic boost for the region.

The park aims to attract global and domestic industries, offering state-of-the-art infrastructure and strategic connectivity.
