Expert Opinion: Kinjal Group Sees India’s Construction Sector Soaring to $1.4 Trillion by 2025

Date:

India’s construction industry is poised to surge to an estimated $1.4 trillion by 2025, driven by modern techniques and robust materials, says Divyesh Doshi, Director of Kinjal Group. In a recent expert opinion interview, Doshi underscored the rapid uptake of off-site prefabrication and modular building methods, which “shrink project timelines significantly and cut down on-site hurdles.”

He highlighted the growing role of Building Information Modeling (BIM) in enhancing design precision and team collaboration. “BIM helps us identify clashes early, streamline service coordination, and keep projects on track,” Doshi remarked. Beyond digital solutions, he stressed the importance of advanced materials—such as high-strength alloys and fiberglass-reinforced concrete—to ensure longevity and environmental responsibility.

Pointing to India’s vast infrastructure demands—from highways to affordable urban housing—Doshi said these needs are fueling greater investment in smart construction practices. He emphasized the necessity of creating structures that withstand severe weather, seismic risks, and rapid city growth. “Our priority should be sustainable, long-lasting solutions that benefit communities for generations,” he added.

As the sector hurtles toward its 2025 target, Doshi and other industry leaders believe that marrying cutting-edge technology with green building standards and innovative materials will be crucial to achieving and sustaining this ambitious growth.
