Dilip Buildcon-RBL JV Secures ₹1,503 Crore Metro Project in Gurugram

Date:

Dilip Buildcon Ltd (DBL), in joint venture with RBL, has emerged as the lowest (L-1) bidder for a major metro construction contract awarded by Gurugram Metro Rail Ltd (GMRL). The ₹1,503.63 crore project includes building a 15.22 km viaduct and 14 elevated stations from Millennium City Centre to Sector 9, along with a 1.85 km spur to Dwarka Expressway and a ramp to the Sector 33 depot. The underpass at Bhaktawar Chowk is also included, though PEB and architectural finishing works are excluded from the scope.

The project forms part of the larger 26.65 km Gurugram Metro Corridor, stretching from Millennium City Centre to Cyber City, and featuring 27 stations including the spur. The joint venture is expected to complete the work within 30 months.

This metro corridor is a crucial step toward strengthening Gurugram’s public transport infrastructure. Once completed, it is set to improve urban mobility, ease road congestion, and enhance connectivity between key commercial zones and residential sectors. The project aligns with Haryana’s broader vision of sustainable urban development and efficient transit systems, offering a significant boost to the region’s infrastructure landscape.
