Contineu’s AI-Driven Construction Platform Secures $1.2 Million Seed Funding

Date:

Bengaluru-based deep-tech startup Contineu announced on May 27, 2025 that it has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by SenseAI Ventures, with significant participation from Piper Serica Angel Fund. The infusion of capital aims to fast-track Contineu’s mission to digitize the traditionally manual construction sector by building an AI-powered vertical data infrastructure stack tailored for large-scale projects.

Contineu’s platform automates critical site-level processes—such as quality monitoring, compliance verification, and defect detection—at a scale previously unattainable without human intervention. Its AI pipeline consistently outperforms state-of-the-art benchmarks on construction datasets, delivering precise non-compliance alerts, automated documentation, and actionable execution insights in real time.

Early enterprise adoption in both domestic and international markets, coupled with a robust sales pipeline, underscores strong product-market fit for Contineu’s solution. “Construction is one of the largest yet least digitized industries, and also one of the ripest for AI transformation,” said Rahul Agarwalla, Managing Partner at SenseAI Ventures. Harshil Naik, Co-founder & CEO of Contineu, added, “Beyond funding, our partnership with SenseAI and Piper Serica brings strategic direction, AI insight, and operational support that will shape the next phase of our journey”.

Contineu plans to deploy the funds to expand its engineering team, enhance its algorithmic capabilities, and accelerate a global rollout over the next year, with the goal of setting new efficiency and safety standards across construction sites worldwide.
