Construction activity has commenced on a large-scale warehouse development project at the LIMA Technology Center in Malvar, Batangas, with total investment estimated at P950 million. The project marks a significant expansion of industrial infrastructure within one of the Philippines’ key economic zones and reflects growing demand for modern logistics and manufacturing facilities.
The project involves the construction of 13 warehouse buildings, which will be offered for sale or lease to companies operating within the economic zone. Designed to meet the requirements of export-oriented and supply chain–driven businesses, the warehouses are expected to support manufacturing, storage, and distribution activities across multiple sectors.
The construction launch coincided with the 30th anniversary celebrations of CAM Connectivity (Phils.), highlighting the long-term industrial growth of the LIMA Technology Center. Officials present at the event noted that the project will enhance the zone’s capacity to attract both local and foreign investments.
Representatives from the Philippine Economic Zone Authority stated that developments such as this warehouse project play a crucial role in strengthening the country’s industrial ecosystem. By expanding ready-to-use facilities, the project is expected to improve operational efficiency for locators and contribute to regional economic growth.
Once completed, the warehouse construction project is anticipated to generate employment, reinforce Batangas’ position as an industrial hub, and support the Philippines’ broader logistics and export ambitions.
