In a major step towards sustainability and circular economy practices, Atlas Copco has officially launched its Reman Equipment Program in India. The initiative aims to provide customers with factory-remanufactured equipment that meets original performance standards—at a reduced environmental and financial cost.
Under this program, used air compressors and other industrial machinery will be disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt using genuine parts at Atlas Copco’s certified remanufacturing facility. These reman units will be fully tested and come with a factory warranty, offering a cost-effective and eco-friendly alternative to new equipment.
“This initiative not only supports our customers’ operational efficiency but also aligns with our global mission of driving sustainable productivity,” said Francois Bauduin, General Manager – Atlas Copco India. “It’s about giving equipment a second life—without compromising quality or performance.”
India is among the first few Asian markets to host this program, reinforcing Atlas Copco’s commitment to local innovation, after-sales service, and environmental stewardship. The move is expected to benefit industries such as manufacturing, automotive, construction, and mining—where equipment lifecycle management is critical.
