RMC Switchgears has won a significant infrastructure contract for the construction of a 132 kV Grid Substation (GSS) at Kaparda SEZ in Jodhpur, further strengthening its footprint in Rajasthan’s power transmission sector. The company has officially received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from the Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam (RVPN), marking a major addition to its project portfolio.
The scope of work includes developing the GSS alongside critical transmission components such as the line-in line-out (LILO) of the 132 kV Bilara–Jhalamand line. Additionally, the company will construct a 132 kV single-circuit (S/C) line from Bhawad to Kirmarsariya and install new bays at both substation locations.
Valued at ₹27.77 crore, the contract covers the supply of equipment and materials—excluding power transformers—along with comprehensive civil works, erection, testing, and commissioning activities.
The project is slated for completion within 18 months, and is expected to serve as a strong driver for RMC Switchgears’ growth trajectory. With this order, the company’s order book is set to expand notably, supporting its revenue outlook and reinforcing its role in upgrading Rajasthan’s transmission infrastructure.
