Saint-Gobain Launches MIA, AI Avatar to Decode Sustainable Construction

Date:

Saint-Gobain has unveiled MIA, an AI-powered avatar designed to translate and communicate sustainable construction solutions worldwide in an engaging, accessible format. Launched in October 2025, MIA serves as the face and voice of the new digital series Voice of the Future, which spotlights how countries are tackling pressing sustainable development challenges in the built environment.

Since September, each episode—hosted by MIA—travels virtually to a different nation (including India, China, Australia, Brazil, and others), exploring innovations in digitalization, resilience, accessibility, low-carbon materials, and more. As part of Saint-Gobain’s 360-year celebration, the initiative aligns with its focus on sustainable design and climate action.

The avatar is backed by state-of-the-art AI tools and storytelling techniques, enabling the group to engage broader audiences—architects, students, policymakers, and the public—in a more immersive narrative around green building practices. Through MIA, Saint-Gobain hopes to demystify complex topics such as circular construction, energy efficiency, smart materials, and responsible resource use—offering actionable insights, localized examples, and expert perspectives.

By harnessing AI and immersive media, the company seeks to reinforce its leadership in sustainable construction, foster global dialogue, and inspire adoption of more responsible building practices across markets.
