Liebherr Locks In 130‑Unit Dozer Deal with Turkey’s State Hydraulic Works (DSİ)

Date:

Liebherr Turkey has secured a landmark contract to supply 130 crawler tractors to Turkey’s General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSİ), reaffirming over a decade of strategic collaboration between the two parties. The order comprises 120 PR 756 Litronic units for heavy-duty earthmoving and 10 PR 736 Litronic machines tailored for precision tasks. All units will be manufactured at Liebherr’s facility in Telfs, Austria.

The PR 756 Litronic, built for high-volume projects, weighs between 35,400–43,000 kg, powered by a 260 kW (353 HP) engine, and features hydrostatic drive for smoother control and fuel efficiency. In contrast, the more agile PR 736 Litronic, weighing 21,200–25,500 kg with 160 kW (217 HP), is ideal for slope shaping, grading, and detailed site work.

Designed with operator comfort and safety in mind, both models include ergonomic cabins, intuitive control systems, GPS readiness, and fuel‑saving ECO mode functionality.

DSİ will deploy the dozers across a broad portfolio of hydraulic and environmental infrastructure projects—from dam and canal construction to flood management, riverbed cleanup, and emergency wildfire support. The order builds on DSİ’s legacy of operating a fleet of nearly 2,000 heavy machinery units, many in service for up to 20–25 years, underscoring the importance of long‑term reliability and strong technical service support.

This delivery further cements Liebherr’s role as a trusted global partner for large-scale infrastructure development—blending power, precision, and durability for critical operations.
