9% Rise in National Highway Construction

Date:

It is heartening to see that highway construction in India has increased by 9% in the April to June period this year. This growth is a strong sign that our infrastructure is moving in the right direction. Roads are the lifelines of any country. Better highways mean faster transport, more trade and easier travel for everyone, from farmers to truck drivers to families.

The government’s focus on building roads, especially under the Bharatmala project, is a positive step. With more highways being built, remote areas can now connect easily with cities. This helps people get jobs, sell their goods and improve their lives.

We should be proud of this progress. These numbers show that India is working hard to improve transportation. It is not just about roads; it is about building a stronger, faster and more connected India. The journey has begun, and the road ahead looks promising.
