Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) has green-lit infrastructure projects totaling ₹526 crore at its recent Project Executive Committee meeting. The funds will bolster connectivity, heritage tourism, flood control and utilities across the city.
A ₹40.17 crore lifeline project, widening the high‑level bridge near Vidya Ashram School—aims to ease traffic. A ₹5.5 crore boost will enhance heritage and tourism facilities at the Govind Dev Ji temple. A new three‑lane Road Over Bridge connecting Ram Mandir (Bani Park) with Hasanpura railway station will further streamline transit.
Zonal allocations include ₹182 crore for sector roads in Zone 11, ₹109 crore in Zone 12 and ₹92.33 crore in Zone 12A. Supplementary schemes cover pipeline-related road restoration, strengthening roads under HT lines in Sanganer, and leveling low‑lying areas for better flood resilience. The Knowledge City project in Chitora village also receives ₹11.12 crore for GSS construction and electrification.
The committee additionally sanctioned ₹4.1 crore for LT/HT power line relocation and electrification. Together, these strategically spread investments reflect JDA’s commitment to Baden urban infrastructure, improved livability, and sustainable growth across Jaipur.
