Hyderabad’s Growth Potential in Construction: Key Insights from Roof and Floor Expo

Date:

Experts in Hyderabad’s construction industry discussed significant developments and challenges. At the Roof and Floor Property Expo held in Kompally, IT and Industries Minister Sridhar Babu emphasized Hyderabad’s potential to become a leader in the construction sector. He highlighted the growth in North Hyderabad, particularly the demand for residential communities and villas. The expo featured over 100 projects from developers like Aparna Constructions and Modi Builders, offering attractive deals to prospective buyers.

However, the industry is also facing challenges, especially due to rising construction costs. Developers are grappling with increased prices for key materials such as steel, cement, and aluminum, driven by supply constraints and inflation. This could push up real estate prices by as much as 10% for upcoming projects. These events reflect both the opportunities and obstacles that Hyderabad’s construction sector is currently navigating as it continues to expand rapidly.
