₹16.45 Billion Boost for Yamuna Expressway-Delhi Highway Link

Date:

The Indian government has approved a ₹16.45 billion project to link the Yamuna Expressway with the Delhi-Agra Highway, aiming to significantly ease travel between the two major corridors. The initiative, spearheaded by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), is designed to enhance traffic flow and reduce congestion in the region.

This expressway connectivity project will include the construction of new link roads, widening of existing stretches, and the development of flyovers and underpasses. These improvements will ensure smoother and safer vehicular movement, reducing travel time for both commuters and freight carriers.

Beyond easing congestion, the project is expected to boost trade, tourism, and regional development. It will also support upcoming infrastructure such as logistics parks, industrial hubs, and smart cities along the Yamuna Expressway corridor.

Once completed, this strategic link will not only improve transportation efficiency but also contribute to the government’s broader vision of a more connected and economically robust India.
