A subsidiary of JSW Infrastructure is set to acquire three rail logistics companies in a strategic deal valued at ₹1,212 crore, marking a significant expansion of the group’s integrated logistics capabilities. The acquisition aims to strengthen JSW’s multimodal transport network and enhance cargo movement efficiency across key industrial corridors in India.
According to company officials, the three target firms operate critical rail-linked assets, including private freight terminals, rolling stock, and cargo handling infrastructure. Integrating these operations will allow JSW Infrastructure to streamline end-to-end logistics, reduce dependency on third-party transporters, and improve service reliability for its customers.
The move is also expected to support JSW Group’s broader expansion across steel, cement, and energy verticals, where efficient logistics play a crucial role in controlling costs and improving operational turnaround times.
