KNR Constructions Secures ₹319.24-Crore Contract for Iconic Mir Alam Tank Bridge

KNR Constructions has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for building an iconic bridge across the historic Mir Alam Tank, a move set to significantly boost regional connectivity. The project will link the Bengaluru National Highway at Shastripuram with Chintalmet, easing traffic flow and improving access to key routes.

Awarded under the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) model, the contract is valued at ₹319.24 crore. According to officials, the bridge will be designed to support increasing vehicular movement while incorporating modern engineering standards. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months, reflecting a strong focus on timely execution.
