Yamato Logistics India (YLI), a subsidiary of Yamato Holdings, has announced the opening of its largest overseas logistics base, the NH8 (Sidhrawali) Logistics Center, in Haryana on January 8, 2026. The completion and construction of this large-scale facility mark a major step in strengthening Yamato Group’s presence in India’s fast-evolving logistics and industrial ecosystem.
Strategically located along National Highway 8, the centre benefits from direct connectivity to key commercial corridors linking Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. This makes it a vital transit hub for both domestic distribution and international logistics operations. Its proximity to inland container depots (ICDs) and major airports further enhances its function as a gateway warehouse and cross-dock terminal, enabling faster and more efficient cargo movement.
The newly constructed logistics centre is designed to provide advanced contract logistics (CL) services, with a strong focus on manufacturing customers expanding in India as well as emerging markets in the Middle East and Africa. Leveraging its deep expertise gained from years of serving Japanese manufacturers, YLI aims to address complex global supply chain challenges with high-quality, reliable solutions.
This development comes at a time when India’s manufacturing sector is witnessing rapid growth, driven by initiatives such as “Make in India,” positioning the centre as a key enabler of industrial expansion and global trade integration.
