Andhra Pradesh Unveils ₹66,523 Crore PPP Blueprint to Transform Urban Infrastructure by 2029

Date:

The Andhra Pradesh government has unveiled an ambitious ₹66,523 crore Public-Private Partnership (PPP) plan aimed at transforming urban infrastructure across the state by 2029. The roadmap outlines a series of large-scale projects intended to upgrade mobility, enhance public services, and modernise key urban centres in line with future population growth.

Officials noted that the PPP model will play a central role in accelerating development, attracting private investments, and ensuring timely execution of projects. The planned initiatives include strengthened road networks, upgraded water supply systems, improved sewage and sanitation infrastructure, integrated public transport, and advanced urban amenities designed to improve overall quality of life.

The government is also focusing on modernising municipal services through smart technologies, digital governance platforms, and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Priority will be given to green mobility, renewable energy integration, and resilient urban planning to ensure long-term environmental stability.

Urban development experts say Andhra Pradesh’s PPP-driven strategy will not only reduce financial burden on the state but also bring in global expertise and operational efficiency. With a clear timeline leading up to 2029, the plan positions the state for accelerated urban transformation, stronger economic activity, and improved livability across major cities and towns.
