Casagrand has entered into a strategic co-development agreement with Blackstone to develop two large industrial and logistics parks in the Sriperumbudur region near Chennai. The upcoming facilities will span approximately 4.2 million sq ft across a 154-acre land parcel, marking one of the significant industrial developments in the region.
Blackstone is expected to invest around ₹700 crore in the project, strengthening the partnership’s financial and operational capabilities. The two parks are planned to become operational within the next 30 months and will cater to a wide range of manufacturing and logistics clients, particularly from the electronics, automotive, and allied sectors.
For Casagrand, this partnership represents a strategic expansion of its logistics and industrial vertical. The company aims to generate around 10–15% of its revenue from this segment in the coming years. Casagrand’s leadership highlighted their experience in industrial warehousing over the past several years and stated that partnering with a long-term global player like Blackstone aligns with their next phase of growth.
The development comes at a time when demand for modern logistics and industrial infrastructure is rising across India, driven by manufacturing expansion, supply-chain modernization, and the rapid growth of e-commerce. The project is expected to further boost Chennai’s position as an emerging hub for integrated industrial-logistics ecosystems.
